Vrbo is now everywhere. I see ads for these amazing houses on TV, on social media, and occasionally even on the streets. So it felt fitting to see what the buzz is all about. During this exploratory research about the company I ended up creating a list of 10 impressive Vrbo rentals in Canada, let me know which you like most!
But first, a few basics about Vrbo*.
Vrbo stands for “Vacation Rentals By Owner”. The company focuses on finding spaces where families can relax, connect, and celebrate. Since its inception in 1995, the company has grown into a library of 2+ million homes around the world.
For travelers Vrbo offers:
- The host never stays on the property so you have all the privacy you might want
- Security deposit and comprehensive payment protection
- Emergency rebooking assistance
- Disclosure of any monitoring devices at a home
- A secure communication platform that protects you from phishing and identity theft
- 24-hour customer support seven days a week via online chat and telephone
For this list, I was looking for unique spaces in cool locations, with exciting decor, features, or amenities. Each of them is unique and exciting. So let’s get into it! Image each image is followed by the property description.
Note: All prices were pulled in the winter and therefore might be different later in the year.
All images are the property of the homeowners.
